Engaging Families: Building and Sustaining Helpful Relationships With Parents (Online)

Overview

Strong relationships with families help to promote positive parent-child relationships and early learning environments and experiences for children. This series of online workshops (2 x 1.5 hours) will empower you to forge genuine partnerships with families and redevelop services in a way that truly meets the needs and expectations of the community.

Strengthen your confidence in engaging with parents who may find services difficult to access, through exploring family ecology and worker and service characteristics that support parent engagement. You'll learn how to overcome barriers, create a welcoming environment for families, and identify and implement practical strategies to promote engagement within and across services.
